Day 10

This morning is the weather that I would have thought it would be.  Dreary, foggy and drizzling.  Good thing I got all those pictures yesterday.  I really didn't mind the cool weather for what we were going to do.  The weather was not going to stop us!  We drove down to Fisherman's Warf and parked.  Which by the way was the most expensive place to park on our whole trip...even our hotel charged us 20 per night.  Parking for 1/2 the day was $37.  Ouch!

We took the famous cable car/trolley all the way back to Union Square.

The kids loved every minute of it!  Brad and I had been on it before and it was a huge hit, so we had to take the kids.  This hill says it all.

Once we got to Union Square, we walked all the way back to Fisherman's Warf.  We zig-zagged down one street and up another until we were back which was about 3 miles.  The kids moved faster than Brad and I.
Some roads were so steep you wanted to just crawl...
A view back down to Fisherman's Warf and Alcatraz.
Of course we had to walk down Lombard Street.
When we got back to Fisherman's Warf, we shopped a little and had an early dinner at a local Italian place then headed back to the hotel.  We (our legs) are exhausted!
