Number 10

Our baby boy is 10 years old.  That makes me feel old.  5 years until he starts driving, 8 years until he graduates from high school.  He has less years left at home than what he has spent with us already.  He really is growing into a wonderful young man.  He still is that driven, determined, emotional boy that was born 10 days late.  Not a day goes by that he doesn't make us laugh or scratch our heads wondering why he did or said something.  He is a whiz is school, a sports fanatic and a protective older brother!  One sister loves him to pieces and the other just thinks he is a boy with cooties.  One thing is for sure, his Daddy and I are so proud to be his mommy and daddy.  Here is to another year and another interview.
Mommy (M)-What is your favorite color?
Aidan (A)-Yellow, yellow and blue
M-What is your favorite food?
A-If I am hungry, anything.
M-Anything specific?
A-Mac and cheese, pizza and soup.
(We surprised Aidan with tickets to the Clemson, South Carolina football game for his birthday)

M-What do you want to be when you grow up?
A-Some sort of sports player and coach.

A-Social Studies.

A-Cheetah
M-What do you like to do with your sisters?
A-I like to play with their horses because they won't play any sports with me.  (This is after they got in a huge fight.)
M-If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A-Probably, New York City because I studied it in my Horizons debate and the other would be Australia.  I like their accents there and lots of places to explore.
(Got his gear and ready to go to the game)

M-If you could describe Brenna in one world what would it be?
A-Moody
M-How about Carsyn?
A-What ever Brenna is that day.

A-yes, 2 boys
M-Who is your best friend?
A-It was always David, but he moved away, so probably Tristan.

M-What makes you happy?
A-Making food or baking
M-What makes you sad?
A-When I have friends move away.
M-What is your favorite song?
A-I like all songs.

(Our stud before the big wedding he was in.)

M-What is your favorite memory from this year?
A-The trip out west.
M-What does mommy do all day?
A-Probably, fold laundry, drive us places, cook, take care of us and coach gymnastics limitedly because you hurt your shoulder.  (Yes, he is pretty much right on.  Surgery for my shoulder is going to be early spring.)
M-What does Daddy do all day?
A-He teaches and coaches.
(Aidan, number 16 before a big game)
