This is a site I am now using for all kinds of organizational stuff. If you know me, you know that I love anything that makes my life easier! Among many things, you can put your calender in it and color code for each person, make a grocery list on it and than call a number (when you forget the list at home) and it is read to you over the phone (or you can have it sent to your phone via text message). The best part of all this is that it is FREE.

What do you do?
If you live in Georgia, or anywhere in the Southeast, you know the problem we are having. We are having a gas problem. I wouldn't really call it a problem, I would call it a crisis! Just as gas prices are actually dropping, a hurricane comes into the Gulf and crushes our hopes and dreams of gas actually being below $3.00 again. When Brad and I got married in 2001 and moved down to Georgia, gas was $.79. Wow, how times have changed in so many ways. People, mainly politicians and media want to blame this person or that. All I know is that I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids and I don't really want to run out of gas while driving on some of these crazy Georgia back roads. Around here it is not the price that is bothering me right now, it is the fact that we do NOT have gas to fill our cars. I followed the directions of the "people" on the radio and news and let my tank run as low as possible. So I go to get gas yesterday and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7..oh that one had gas, but at only 1 tank and the line was at least 1 hour long, so on to 8, 9, 10 and finally# 11 gas station...on the corner of Jot-em-down and GA 400. THANK YOU MR. SHELL STATION! This is all with in 15 minutes from my house. I was able to fill my tank up. (Now they are saying not to fill all the way up..but sorry I am not doing this again!) What was I going to do if I ran out of gas with 3 children in my car, one of which can not walk on her own? I laugh about it now, but I was not laughing than! No, no, I was praying REAL hard to make it to a station that had gas and then not have to wait in an hour long line. Brad and I had even used up our containers of gas in our garage that we use for our lawnmower. We can have grass that is long for a little bit, but we have to have gas for our cars. "They" say it is going to get better in the next 5 days..lets just hope. No need to panic! What do you do?

5 Months
Is it Sunday evening already? My weeks seem to fly by so fast! Having the days so structured now with Aidan in school everyday, dance and gymnastics on one day, swimming on another, picking Aidan up from school, lunch, dinner and everything in between...now I start it all over. Now, I really have to say that everything couldn't be going more smoothly, but "they" (whoever "they" are) were not kidding when "they" said time really does move faster as your kids get older. Carsyn is just over 5 months and changing so quickly. Did my other 2 grow this quickly? I just want it to slow down. I love this age she is at. Here are a few of my favorites (beware that there are a couple naked baby shots).......
HER SMILE......
she smiles at just about anything and everyone!
HER KISSES......
with mouth wide open. Lots of slobber and lots of love!
HER ATTEMPTS AT CRAWLING.....
hence my reason for time to start slowing down. She loves to do this naked. I guess it is more freedom to move! Adorable though!
HER ADORABLE FACES AT THE CAMERA......
She is now sitting for a good period of time before tipping over. She would prefer to be on her hands and knees trying to crawl. (I had to put the shirt there for her protection.)
Have a WONDERFUL week. Enjoy all the small moments of life!

Home sweet home
We are home from our wonderful vacation to the beach. We had been planning this trip as a surprise gift for my parents 30th wedding anniversary. They have given us so much over the years, this was just something little that we could give back. The kids did a great job keeping the secret and my parents didn't know until we were driving there. Our condo worked out great for all of us and we were able to eat some meals out at some of Brad and my favorite places and than we were able to eat some meals in. We missed all the tropical storms and hurricanes and had the most beautiful weather. It was so hot and not a drop of rain!
One day we were able to go on a sunset dolphin cruise. We saw over 50 dolphins who had just had babies that were swimming and jumping right beside their mommies. Here is Brenna and Aidan driving the boat. They thought this was pretty cool! The next day we were able to go on a couple jet skiis and the dolphins were swimming not even 10 feet from us. It was amazing!
Just one of the beautiful sunsets we saw!
Carsyn was so good and enjoyed her time being dragged from the pool, to the beach and all around. We had a great indoor pool at our condo which provided a bit of a break from the intense sun. Even though the kids have spent much of the last 3 months out in the hot Georgia sun, something is different about those Florida rays and everyone seemed to get a little pink!
Carsyn even took her naps on the beach! She seemed to sleep better here than in her pack and play at the condo!
Aidan really got the hang of his boogie board by the end of the trip. He swallowed lots of salt water, but had a great time!
Carsyn enjoying some Daddy time.
Brenna enjoying the sand.
My mom and Brenna sitting in the water with the waves crashing over them. I don't think Brenna ever got use to the taste of the salt water.
The whole group on the last night.
The kids on the beach the last night there. It is almost impossible to get 3 kids to look at the camera and smile all at the same time!
When was the last time it was just Brad and I in a picture?
Brad and I just loved being able to take the whole family here. Brad's older brother use to live here and we have missed being able to go and visit. We hope to make this a yearly tradition!

Brenna's big day!
Brenna had her first day of school yesterday. She is going to Concord Baptist Preschool where Aidan went for the last 2 years. She has been so anxious to start and asks me everymorning when she can go to school and take her "pack pack." She did awesome and had so much fun with her teacher Ms. Lindsay. Here is my sweet grown up Brenna....
For all of you who wondered about that last picture...that is Brenna when she was 7 months! So precious!
