Running

Brad has always loved to run. I guess you have to love to run to coach other people to run! After a stressful basketball season ended in February, he decided he wanted to train for some races and loose some weight....30 lbs to be exact. He entered the "Biggest Loser" competition at school in hopes of winning that cash prize. Of course they were playing with percentages and with Brad not weighing in overweight, the chance would be greater that he would win. He would have to loose around 15 %. This would bring him back to 5 lbs under the weight he was when we got married. With major health problems looming in his family, he thought that this would be the chance to be more aware of what and how much he was eating. He worked so hard at this everyday, running 1 or 2 times a day and doing a workout at night. The end result...he lost 25 lbs. (the weight he was over 9 years ago when we got married) No, he did not win the competition...but he only lost 3rd place by 1 lb. When he puts his mind to something, he doesn't let down. He has really made a lifestyle change. I am so proud of him! These are some pictures from his latest race. Look for more later this month of another one he is doing!

Before the race with Aidan-

The race was at a Northside Hospital in Cumming and race to a local rock quarry to the finish line. There is a lookout at the quarry.
Just finishing and checking his time of 22:12!
