POST 101

This is my 101st post today!

If you are reading this, please post a message and let me know you are still reading this! Enjoy the pictures we had done of the kids the beginning of August. Aidan and Brenna were so well behaved. Carsyn was another story. I threw in some of those for your enjoyment! Have a great week.

What is missing?

What is missing from these two pictures from Aidan's first day of kindergarten and Brad's first day of his 9th year of teaching?










































Answer: DAY LIGHT! That is right! When Brad and Aidan leave in the morning to go to school it is 6:45 am...and it is only getting darker as it gets closer to fall and into winter. This means early mornings once again. Aidan is doing great and waking up with his own alarm, gets dressed and makes his bed! We are so proud of how he has handled the last 2 busy weeks!



What is missing from this picture?

Answer: Carsyn's clothes...and her mommy watching her! I was getting ready in our bathroom and Carsyn decided to go into our pantry, climb up on the stool and take the bag of pound cake and proceed to eat most of it and dump the rest on my floor. Oh the life of a 16 month old!

This is an easy one...What is missing from this picture?

Answer: Aidan's bottom 2 teeth! They look kind of gross in this picture, because they had just been pulled out by Brad and they were a bit bloody, but they so needed to come out! This was a wonderful little gift on our anniversary! He was so excited to wake up Wednesday morning to find $2.00 under his pillow from the tooth fairy. I can't believe my first baby lost his first 2 teeth.

Kindergarten here we come!

My first baby starts kindergarten tomorrow.

That seems weird as I type that! I won't say much, because I will start to cry over my keyboard..so I will let the pictures say it all. Enjoy!!

We are so proud of Aidan and I know that God has an exciting journey for him ahead and will be with him every step of the way!

The end is near...

The end of summer is near!

School starts Monday and we have been filling our schedule with lots of FUN stuff for the kids to do and for all of us to do as a family. Here is what we have been up to....

We took the whole family to Six Flags White Water. It is an amazing water park that the kids (and the parents) could not get enough of.

I surprised Aidan with a end of summer/start to kindergarten treat and took him to see Rascal Flatts and Darius Rucker. He was so surprised, excited and a bit overwhelmed. I was a bit nervous with so many people, but he did great! Even though the concert was AWESOME, I could not take my eyes off watching Aidan's face light up watching all excitement. We had a great date night!

Carsyn has now figured out how to open the back door. Thank goodness for door alarms!

We had a picnic with our couples small group bible study and their families. There are five couples and there are 14 children all ranging 9 and under. Here are a few of them posing for a picture.
It isn't summer with out enjoying a delicious watermelon!
