Interview with a 3 year old

I sat down with Carsyn this morning to have her answer some questions. Her brother and sister are at school, so I thought she would love to sit down with her momma, Right? Wrong? She said she was busy. I asked her busy doing what? She said, "I am taking care of my babies." After a while she joins me and answers some questions along with her babies.

Mommy (M)-What is your favorite color?
Carsyn (C)-Ummmm Blue.
M-What is your favorite food?
C-Mac and cheese
M-Why is that your favorite?
C-Cause you put hotdogs in it.
M-What is your favorite song?
C-Jesus Loves Me.
M-What is your favorite thing to do at school?
C-Ummm....I...color
M-What do you want to be when you grow up?
C-I want to sing songs. (I was convinced she said she would want to be a princess, but a singer, that is interesting.)
M-You want to stand if front of lots of people and sing songs?
C-Nodding her head she says, "Yes."
M-What is your favorite thing to do with your brother and sister?
C- Playing with my babies. (Big surprise?)

I had a few more questions, but like any other 3 year old, she was to busy playing with her babies. This is a girl that stands her ground. She knows what she likes and what she wants and she isn't going to change that. Last night when leaving her Easter concert at school, Brenna gives her sister a complement, "Carsyn, I love your beautiful dress. Your bow matches perfectly." (This is totally Brenna!) To which Carsyn replies, "Thank you, Bwenna. I don't really like your dress." Trying not to laugh because she was just being honest, we had a conversation about tact with a 3 year old. We just love that about her. She is also our physical touch child. She would rather be in her daddy's arms than playing with her beloved babies. She find comfort in her brother's hands while riding in the car. In her eyes, he could do no wrong. Many times when I tell her I love her she says, "I know." I say this every year, but she truly is a JOY! We are so much in love with this little girl!

Springtime

These are a couple things I think of when I think of spring (besides allergies and stuff noises).....

1. Baseball-
Aidan is playing for the Reds team. My little athlete is having fun learning more about the sport of baseball. Mommy doesn't like all the rain cancellations and postponing, but I guess that comes with the sport. 2. Riding bikes-This is Brenna's HUGE accomplishment during spring break at Grammie and Papa's. She learned how to ride a 2 wheeler. Carsyn is also loving her hand-me-down bike from Brenna. A bike with training wheels. She went up and down their street more than 20 times on that thing.

Dance away!

Brenna had a father/daughter dance in February that she was counting down the days to go to. Since it was during basketball season, Brad was going to be a bit late. I called my brother, Drew and he was more than happy to take her! I think her favorite part besides dancing, was the chocolate fondue fountain. She was on a sugar high that night and in the morning comes down for breakfast and said, "Mommy, I think I overdid it last night."

An accomplishment

Aidan had an exciting gymnastics season this year. After lots of work and many hours in the gym he was able to compete level 4 this year. He worked really hard all season at improving his scores from meet to meet. At state he was rewarded with 4 place on the Vault. I know during the off season he is going to work just as hard to try to get to level 5. With some transitions in coaches at the gym, we couldn't be more proud of how hard and determined he has worked!

Miles

The start of many posts in the next few days to catch you up with what is going on with us. We were finally able to fix what is going on with the desk top...well more like mask the problem, so I can import pictures from this computer.

Anyways, a couple months ago this happened to both of our cars. The first one to go over was the Jetta. We bought that car about a month after we got married in 2001. It has 70 miles on it.

The Monterro we bought in 2005 and had 99,000 on it.

We are taking donations for the "Kudlas car fund" anytime you would like!
